**Hyderabad, January 9, 2025** – K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Telangana IT Minister, appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad today for questioning regarding alleged financial irregularities in the Formula E Race deal. This follows a previous attempt on January 6th, where his lawyers were initially barred from accompanying him, prompting a High Court intervention allowing an observer access to the interrogation.

KTR, who also served as the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), maintained his innocence prior to his appearance. In a social media post, he defended his role in bringing the Formula E race to Hyderabad, emphasizing its significance in promoting sustainable mobility and bolstering the city’s and state’s global image.
