**New Delhi, January 9, 2025** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 session. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their results on the official website, ctet.nic.in, using their roll numbers. Results are available for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
A passing score of 90 out of 150, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%, is required for candidates in the general category. The CTET certificate is valid for life and allows successful candidates to apply for teaching positions in schools across India. This includes schools under the central government, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), as well as many unaided private schools. While state-run schools may prioritize their own state-level TET exams, some states may accept the CTET certificate.
The CTET December 2024 exam was held on December 14, 2024, in two sessions. Paper 1 was administered in the afternoon session, and Paper 2 in the morning session.
