Thu Jan 09 14:03:56 UTC 2025: ## Adani Group and ISKCON to Feed Millions at Maha Kumbh Mela

**Prayagraj, January 10, 2025** – The Adani Group and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) have partnered to provide free meals to an estimated 5 million devotees attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The “Mahaprasad Seva” initiative will run throughout the mela, from January 13th to February 26th.

Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, met with Guru Prasad Swami, Chairman of ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission, on Thursday to express his gratitude for ISKCON’s collaboration. Adani praised the Kumbh Mela as a sacred place of service and expressed his privilege in partnering with ISKCON to provide this essential service. The meals will be prepared in two large kitchens and distributed at 40 locations across the mela grounds. Around 2,500 volunteers will assist in the distribution.

Special provisions have been made for the elderly, differently-abled, and mothers with children, including the use of golf carts for easier transportation. In addition to food, 500,000 copies of the Gita Saar will be distributed among attendees.

Guru Prasad Swami lauded the Adani Group for its commitment to corporate social responsibility, highlighting Gautam Adani’s humility and selfless dedication to service. He expressed deep gratitude for the Adani Group’s contribution and the inspiring example it sets for others.
