**Nashik, Maharashtra –** Nashik City Police successfully apprehended two drug traffickers and seized 28 kilograms of ganja following a dramatic hour-long chase across the city early Tuesday morning.

The pursuit began around 2 AM when a red car with Mumbai registration plates (MH 02) attempted to evade a routine stop-and-search checkpoint in Adgaon. Suspecting the vehicle might contain illegal contraband, eight control room mobile vans were immediately dispatched to intercept the fleeing vehicle.

The suspects attempted to elude police by driving through residential areas and avoiding main roads. However, the coordinated effort by the Nashik City Police resulted in the successful apprehension of the traffickers after a chase that covered several city locations, including Dwarka, Amardham, KK Wagh College, and Chakradhar Swami Mandir.

Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered 28 kilograms of ganja hidden in the trunk. The car, en route from Dhule to Navi Mumbai, was seized. Police emphasized that the arrests were made without causing harm to the public or the suspects.
