**NEW DELHI, January 7** – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examination. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, using their application number and password.
The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, in two shifts each day. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates must bring a photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, or passport, along with their admit card to the examination center. Entry will only be granted after verification of both documents. A direct link to download the admit cards is also available on the website.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their name, photograph, signature, and exam center details on the admit card to avoid any last-minute issues. A successful GATE score is essential for admission to M.Tech programs at various IITs and is also accepted by numerous companies, including NTPC, for employment. Each IIT sets its own cutoff scores for admission.
