**Kalpetta:** Bobby Chemmannur, a prominent businessman, has been taken into custody following a complaint filed by actress Honey Rose. The arrest was made in Wayanad by the Ernakulam Central Police. Chemmannur is accused of making obscene remarks against Rose and circulating them on social media.

Rose, who had earlier publicly revealed the harassment on social media, stated that she would rely on the strength of the Indian legal system, while accusing Chemmannur of a pattern of abusive behavior. Her post contained a warning to the businessman.

Chemmannur had previously claimed that his remarks were made during the inauguration of two of his shops, where Rose had been a model. He stated he had made a positive comment, but others misinterpreted it. He denied any malicious intent and attributed the incident to a marketing strategy.

However, the police have rejected Chemmannur’s explanation and proceeded with his arrest after preliminary questioning. Further legal action is expected.
