**Madurai, January 7, 2025** – A primary school headmaster in Srivilliputtur, Rajesh, has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody for allegedly sexually assaulting two minor boys. Police reported that the boys, students at a higher secondary school, had visited Rajesh to thank him for giving them cake the previous day. It was during this visit that the alleged assault occurred. Following a complaint filed by the mother of one of the victims, the All Women Police Station in Srivilliputtur registered a case against Rajesh under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
