**Roorkee, India –** The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examination. Candidates who applied for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, using their enrollment ID and password.
The release, initially scheduled for January 2nd, was delayed until today, January 7th. The GATE 2025 exam, a crucial entrance exam for postgraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and science, will be held on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025. The exam, conducted by IIT Roorkee this year, will be a computer-based test (CBT) with 30 papers and a three-hour duration. Results are expected to be announced on March 19th, 2025, and will be valid for three years.
The exam will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions, with negative marking applied. The evaluation will assess candidates’ abilities in recall, comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis.
