**Mumbai, January 7, 2025** – Capital Infra Trust InvIT’s ₹1,578 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) opened for subscription today and will run until January 9. The IPO price band is set at ₹99 to ₹100 per share. Interestingly, the grey market premium (GMP) is currently nil, indicating no significant price advantage anticipated over the listing price.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹1,077 crore (10.77 crore shares) and an offer for sale of ₹501 crore (5.01 crore shares). Shares will be sold in lots of 150, with minimum investment requirements of ₹2,10,000 for Non-Institutional Investors (NII) and ₹10,05,000 for bNII.
Proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to repay existing debt. 75% of the offer is reserved for qualified institutional buyers, with the remaining 25% allocated to non-institutional investors.
Capital Infra Trust, launched in September 2023 and sponsored by Gawar Construction, is an infrastructure investment trust focused on acquiring and managing completed, revenue-generating infrastructure assets. Its portfolio includes nine assets totaling 682.42 km across several Indian states. Gawar Construction, the sponsor, boasts a significant track record in road and highway construction.
The allotment is expected on January 10, 2025, with refunds and credit to demat accounts anticipated on January 13. Listing on the BSE and NSE is scheduled for January 14. SBI Capital Markets and HDFC Bank are the book-running lead managers, and Kfin Technologies is the registrar.
