**PUDUKOTTAI, January 5, 2025** – Abhishek Gupta, a 2019 batch IPS officer, assumed charge as the Superintendent of Police of Pudukottai district on Saturday. He replaces Vandita Pandey, who has been promoted to Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Dindigul Range. Mr. Gupta previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Tiruppur and as Superintendent of Police in the same district.
