**Rajgarh, India –** A 14-year-old boy is in custody after allegedly murdering his 85-year-old grandfather and 80-year-old grandmother with an axe in Talar Pahadi village. Police reported that the incident occurred Saturday when the boy, suffering from an unspecified mental health condition, began attacking himself with the axe. His grandparents intervened, leading to a violent confrontation in which both were fatally wounded.
The boy also sustained injuries during the attack and is currently hospitalized. Superintendent of Police Abhinandan confirmed the details, stating that the teenager’s mental state was unstable. A case has been registered under Section 103 (punishment for murder) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, and an investigation is underway. The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem examination.
