**Los Angeles, CA** – The 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards, held on Sunday night, celebrated a diverse range of cinematic and television achievements. Several films and shows emerged as major winners, with “Emilia Perez” and “Shogun” leading the pack.

“Emilia Perez,” a French film, secured two prestigious awards: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Non-English Language Film. Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress for her role, and the film’s song, “El Mal,” took home Best Original Song.

In the drama category, “The Brutalist” swept Best Motion Picture – Drama, with Adrien Brody winning Best Actor and Brady Corbet earning Best Director. “Flow” won Best Animated Film, and “Wicked” received the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

On the television side, “Shogun” dominated, winning Best Drama Series and earning accolades for its stars Anna Sawai (Best Actress) and Hiroyuki Sanada (Best Actor). “Hacks” won Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, with Jean Smart claiming Best Actress in the category. “Baby Reindeer” won Best Limited Series, with Jessica Gunning winning Best Actress.

Other notable winners included Demi Moore (Best Actress – Musical or Comedy for “The Substance”), Sebastian Stan (Best Actor – Musical or Comedy for “A Different Man”), Fernanda Torres (Best Actress – Drama for “I’m Still Here”), and Jeremy Allen White (Best Actor – Musical or Comedy for “The Bear”). In the limited series category, Jodie Foster and Colin Farrell won for their roles in “True Detective: Night Country” and “The Penguin,” respectively.

The ceremony, hosted by Nikki Glaser and broadcast live on CBS, also saw Viola Davis receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson accept the Carol Burnett Award. This year’s awards marked the second since the Hollywood Foreign Press Association was replaced by a more globally diverse voting body.
