Mon Jan 06 15:54:47 UTC 2025: ## Liverpool’s Title Odds Dip After Anfield Draw with Manchester United

**Liverpool, England –** Liverpool’s seemingly insurmountable lead in the Premier League has taken a slight hit following a 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday. According to Opta’s Supercomputer, Liverpool’s chances of winning the title have dropped from 91.7% to 88.9%.

While still the favorites, the Reds’ title hopes were dented by Amad Diallo’s late equalizer, canceling out Mohamed Salah’s penalty. The result also boosted the chances of their rivals. Arsenal, after a 1-1 draw against Brighton, saw their title odds rise from 8% to 10.3% following the Liverpool-Manchester United game. Even Chelsea experienced a marginal increase in their chances.

Manchester United’s spirited performance, despite being closer to the relegation zone than the Champions League places, surprised many. Manager Ruben Amorim acknowledged the team’s precarious position, but the draw against Liverpool did lift them one spot in the table. Opta’s Supercomputer gives Manchester United a mere 0.1% chance of relegation and a 0.2% chance of finishing fourth.

With roughly half the season remaining, the Premier League title race remains wide open, although Liverpool continues to hold a significant advantage over their competitors.
