Fri Jan 03 18:25:36 UTC 2025: ## Bengaluru Engineering Colleges Celebrate Quality at Manak Carnival

**Bengaluru, January 3, 2025** – Over 680 students from 13 engineering colleges across Karnataka participated in the Manak Carnival, a vibrant event promoting quality standards and innovation, held Friday at BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Yelahanka. Organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (Bengaluru Branch), the carnival featured a kite-decorating competition themed “Flying High with Standards,” a quiz on quality principles, and short presentations on BIS standards.

R.L. Jalappa Polytechnic secured the title of Best Exhibitor, with BMS Institute of Technology and Management’s ECE branch named runner-up. Prof. Satyam Suwas from the Indian Institute of Science served as chief guest. Participating institutions included the University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Acharya Institute of Technology, and M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of quality standards in various fields.
