SBICAPS, the investment banking arm of State Bank of India, will act as a transaction advisor for the development of new hydroelectric and pumped storage projects (PSPs).

This collaboration is a key part of KSEB’s ambitious plan to reach 10,000 megawatts (MW) of internal power generation by 2030. The project involves adding 1,478 MW through hydroelectric projects at an estimated cost of ₹11,746 crore and another 3,330 MW through PSPs, costing an estimated ₹16,751 crore.
