SEOUL, South Korea (The Korea Herald) – K-pop star J-Hope of the globally renowned group BTS has donated 100 million won (approximately $68,000 USD) to aid the victims of the recent Jeju Air plane crash at Muan International Airport. The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced the donation on January 3rd.

J-Hope, known for his philanthropic efforts, expressed his condolences and stated that he hoped his contribution would offer some support to the bereaved families. This is not his first significant donation; he previously donated the same amount to flood relief efforts in 2023 and is a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a group of high-value donors.
