**Hyderabad, India** – Karun Nair, the former Indian Test cricketer who famously scored a triple-century against England in 2016, is making headlines once again. The 33-year-old Vidarbha captain is currently dominating the Vijay Hazare Trophy, amassing a hat-trick of centuries in as many matches.

Nair’s latest century, a 112-run knock off 101 balls against Uttar Pradesh on January 3rd, saw him surpass James Franklin’s record for the most runs scored while remaining not out in List A cricket. His current tally stands at an impressive 542 runs, achieved in four consecutive unbeaten innings. His previous scores include 112* against Jammu & Kashmir, 44* against Chhattisgarh, 163* against Chandigarh, and 111* against Tamil Nadu. These remarkable performances have led Vidarbha to victory in all five matches played so far.
