**Hubballi, Karnataka, January 3, 2025** – South Western Railway announced the launch of a new weekly special train connecting Hubballi to Yog Nagari Rishikesh. The train, which will operate until further notice, will depart from Hubballi at 8:30 PM every Monday, beginning January 6th, excluding January 13th, 27th, and February 3rd, 10th, and 24th. It will arrive in Rishikesh at 11:30 PM on Wednesdays.
The return journey will commence from Rishikesh at 6:15 AM every Thursday, starting January 9th, with the same exceptions as the outbound journey. The train will reach Hubballi at 6:30 AM on Saturdays.
The train will make stops at several major cities en route, including Dharwad, Belagavi, Pune, Agra, and several others. The 14-coach train will consist of four AC-3 tier sleeper coaches and eight AC-2 tier coaches. This new service is expected to boost tourism and connectivity between the two regions.
