**Hyderabad, India** – Allu Arjun’s blockbuster sequel, *Pushpa 2: The Rule*, continues its box office dominance, even after experiencing a significant drop in earnings. While the film surpassed a remarkable ₹1,800 crore globally within its first month of release (December 5th, 2023), collections dipped sharply on January 2nd after a strong start to the new year.
According to Sacnilk, a box office tracking website, the film earned approximately ₹5 crore nett domestically on Thursday, January 4th – a 61% decrease compared to the previous day. However, strong performance in North India suggests a potential rebound this weekend.
Despite the drop, *Pushpa 2* remains a massive success. In its first 29 days, the film raked in a staggering ₹1,189.85 crore nett in India alone.
