**Los Angeles, CA** – Glen Powell is set to star in “Chad Powers,” a new Hulu comedy series inspired by Eli Manning’s viral ESPN+ docuseries segment. The 10-episode half-hour comedy, premiering fall 2025, will see Powell take on the role of Chad Powers, the alter ego Manning used during a disguised Penn State football tryout.

Powell, who co-created and co-wrote the series with Michael Waldron, will portray a disgraced college quarterback who adopts a new identity to reinvent his football career. The show’s executive producers include Powell, Waldron, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, and ESPN.

Eli Manning, who praised Powell’s transformative performance and commitment to the role, expressed surprise and excitement at the project’s evolution from a short segment into a full-fledged series. Powell himself described the role as one of his most challenging, citing extensive prosthetic work and consultations with experts including Tom Cruise and Patrick Mahomes’ quarterback coach.

The cast also includes Steve Zahn, Wynn Everett, Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, and Frankie A. Rodriguez. Hulu released a first look at the series in December 2024, showcasing Powell’s impressive transformation into the affable, yet deceptive, Chad Powers.
