**MUMBAI, INDIA** – The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) have released their 2025 holiday calendar, revealing 14 trading days off for the Indian stock market. The closures are spread throughout the year, with single holidays in February, May, November, and December; two holidays each in March and August; and three holidays each in April and October.
The first market closure will be on February 26th for Mahashivratri, and the last will be December 25th for Christmas. A special Muhurat Trading session is scheduled for October 21st, with timings to be announced later. Several holidays will fall on existing weekend days.
