Wed Jan 01 14:49:46 UTC 2025: **Sharada Group of Institutions Celebrates Golden Jubilee in Dharwad**
DHARWAD, January 1, 2025 – The Sharada Group of Institutions, founded by cooperative leader and former Minister K.H. Patil, celebrated its 50th anniversary on Friday. The golden jubilee celebrations, held in Dharwad, were inaugurated by Law Minister H.K. Patil.
The event included the felicitation of Sahakara Ratna award winner K.L. Patil and the release of a commemorative souvenir. High Court Judge Ravi Hosamani and Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti were also in attendance. D.R. Patil, chairman of the Vemana Vidyavardhaka Sangha, presided over the function.
According to Ramesh Jangal, vice-president of the Sangha, K.H. Patil established Sharada School to provide affordable education to children from poor and rural backgrounds. The institution has since expanded to offer education from pre-school to pre-university levels.
