**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, January 1, 2025** – Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will be sworn in as the new Governor of Kerala on Thursday, January 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan, with Kerala High Court Chief Justice Nitin Madhukar Jamdar administering the oath.

Mr. Arlekar arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday evening, where he was welcomed by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other ministers. He was accompanied by his wife, Anagha Arlekar.
