**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Online travel company EaseMyTrip announced Wednesday that Co-Founder and CEO Nishant Pitti has resigned due to personal reasons. His brother, Rikant Pittie, the company’s Executive Director, has been appointed as the new CEO, effective immediately.
Rikant Pittie, a Kurukshetra University graduate with 16 years of experience in tourism, travel, HR, and technology, will oversee strategic initiatives, innovation, and customer experience improvements at EaseMyTrip. The company stated in a regulatory filing that this move aims to further solidify its market position.
EaseMyTrip’s shares closed slightly down at ₹15.85 on the BSE on Wednesday.
