**New Delhi, December 28, 2024** – A fire followed by an explosion at a namkeen (savory snack) factory in Najafgarh, southwest Delhi, injured four workers this morning. The incident occurred around 8:16 a.m., prompting a large-scale response from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). Seventeen fire tenders were dispatched to the two-story building, where the fire originated on the ground floor. The injured workers were transported to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Firefighting efforts are ongoing.
