**NOIDA, INDIA** – Simran Singh, a popular freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir known as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan” and with nearly 700,000 Instagram followers, was found dead in her rented Noida apartment on Wednesday night. Police have confirmed that the death is being investigated as a suspected suicide, though no suicide note was discovered at the scene.

Singh, who lived with friends in Sector 47, was last active on Instagram on December 13th. Police were alerted by a friend residing in the same house around 9:30 PM Wednesday. Upon arriving, officers found Singh’s room locked from the inside and forced entry, discovering her deceased. Her family, who arrived after being notified, indicated she had been distressed recently. A post-mortem has been conducted, and the body has been released to her family. The investigation is ongoing.
