**Washington D.C., December 27, 2024** – Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan at the White House yesterday. The meeting focused on the progress of the India-U.S. strategic partnership and included discussions on current regional and global developments.
Minister Jaishankar, currently on an official visit to the U.S. (December 24-29), announced the wide-ranging talks via X (formerly Twitter). He is also scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other senior members of the Biden administration, as well as holding introductory meetings with the incoming Trump administration’s leadership. While in the U.S., Minister Jaishankar will chair a conference of Indian Consul Generals.
