**Charlottetown, PE** – Premier Dennis King confirmed today that Santa Claus is on track for his Christmas Eve journey across Prince Edward Island, following a reassuring phone call with the man himself. Santa reported that his sleigh is in top condition and his reindeer are raring to go, thanks in part to some expert advice from Team Canada rugby star Alysha Corrigan and her teammates.

Corrigan and her fellow silver medalists shared their expertise in teamwork and endurance, helping Santa prepare for his busiest night of the year. The Premier also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of PEI fire departments and community groups who collected letters to Santa, highlighting the Island’s festive spirit.
