**GORAKHPUR, INDIA – December 25, 2024** – Gorakhpur is brimming with festive cheer as Christians across the city celebrate Christmas. Churches and homes are brightly decorated with colorful lights and garlands, marking the birth of Jesus Christ.
Midnight mass on December 24th ushered in the celebrations, with many churches hosting special prayer services. St. Joseph’s Church in Civil Lines featured a meticulously crafted nativity scene, complete with shepherds, animals, angels, and the baby Jesus in a manger.
