**TIRUPPUR, December 24, 2024** – Tiruppur police have arrested two brothers for murder, initially reported as a road accident. Vivek (35) and his accomplice Ananthan (36) were apprehended for the death of Vivek’s younger brother, Ashok (30). The incident stemmed from a property dispute.

Police initially classified Ashok’s death as an accident. However, Vivek’s disappearance following the “accident,” coupled with a post-mortem revealing a severe head injury inflicted by iron rods, raised suspicions. The investigation was subsequently altered to a murder case.

Vivek confessed to the crime, stating he and Ananthan disposed of Ashok’s body and motorcycle by the roadside to stage an accident. Both men have been remanded in judicial custody.
