**Visakhapatnam, December 24, 2024** – To accommodate the expected surge in passenger and tourist traffic to Araku Valley during the upcoming festive season, the Indian Railways will operate special trains between Visakhapatnam and Araku. The trains will run on Saturdays and Sundays from December 28th to January 19th.
Train number 08525, the Visakhapatnam-Araku Special Express, will depart Visakhapatnam at 8:30 AM, arriving in Araku at 11:45 AM. The return train, 08526, will leave Araku at 2:00 PM and reach Visakhapatnam at 6:00 PM. This service will operate for a total of 10 trips.
The special trains will stop at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, Shrungavarapukota, and Borraguhalu. The train composition includes one 2nd AC coach, one 3rd AC coach, ten sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two second-class cum luggage break vans (divyangjan-friendly).
