**Hyderabad, December 24, 2024** – Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman and prominent producer Dil Raju has pledged to provide a job in the film industry to the husband of Revathi, who died in a stampede outside Sandhya Theatre on December 4th. The stampede occurred during the pre-release event of the film *Pushpa 2*.
Mr. Raju visited Sri Teja, Revathi’s son, who is currently hospitalized at KIMS Hospital, to offer his condolences and support. He confirmed to reporters that a permanent position will be secured for Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, within the film industry.
The incident resulted in Revathi’s death and serious injuries to her son. Allu Arjun, the lead actor in *Pushpa 2*, was also briefly detained in relation to the event, but was later released on bail. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Mr. Raju stated that he is working towards resolving the situation, including coordinating with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other industry leaders, such as Allu Arjun and Sukumar, to prevent similar tragedies in the future. He emphasized the need for better coordination between the film industry and the government to improve safety measures at such events. He also expressed his intention to utilize his position as FDC chairman to address the industry’s concerns and advocate for improved safety protocols.
