**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, December 23, 2024** – Chirayinkeezhu police have apprehended Jayan, alias Auto Jayan (43), the prime suspect in the November 22nd murder of a 25-year-old youth, Vishnu, near Aanathalavattom. Jayan, who allegedly stabbed Vishnu in the neck following an argument, was arrested in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, after evading capture for over a month. He had initially fled to a farm in Attingal before escaping to Tamil Nadu with the assistance of Lal (51), who was also arrested. Police faced challenges tracking Jayan due to his lack of mobile phone usage, but eventually apprehended him following surveillance.
