Kotian, born October 16, 1998, in Mumbai, is a relatively young player who made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on December 22, 2018. He has also represented Mumbai in List A cricket (Vijay Hazare Trophy) and T20 cricket (Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy). He previously played alongside Pushkar Sharma for the Mumbai Under-16 team in the 2014-15 season. Kotian also plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
