**Udaipur, Rajasthan, December 23, 2024** – Indian badminton champion PV Sindhu married businessman Venkat Dutta Sai in a private Hindu ceremony in Udaipur on Sunday, December 22nd. The first photos of the wedding have emerged, shared by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who attended the ceremony.
Shekhawat posted a picture of the couple on X (formerly Twitter), congratulating Sindhu and Sai and offering his blessings for their new life together. Sindhu wore a cream-colored sari, while Sai sported a matching sherwani.
The wedding was a small, intimate affair held at the Udaipur’s Raffles hotel, attended by close family and a select few dignitaries. A larger reception is planned for Tuesday, December 24th.
