**GUWAHATI, ASSAM –** A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Assam for the brutal murder of his two young stepbrothers. The bodies of the fifth and sixth-grade students were discovered on Saturday, December 22nd, two days after they disappeared while on their way to school. Their throats had been slit.
The boys were last seen leaving for school on Friday, December 20th, with their stepbrother, Neeraj Sharma, on his motorbike. Sharma, according to police, confessed to taking the boys to a secluded location where he murdered them. Police have recovered the motorbike and the murder weapon.
