Sun Dec 22 07:03:01 UTC 2024: ## Pushpa: The Rule Joins Elite 1000 Crore Club, Shattering Box Office Records

**Hyderabad, India –** Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa: The Rule* continues its box office reign, achieving a phenomenal milestone on its 17th day in theaters. The action drama raked in an estimated ₹25 crore (approximately $3 million USD) in India on Saturday, December 21st, bringing its total India net collection to a staggering ₹1029.9 crore (approximately $124 million USD). Globally, the film’s earnings soared to ₹1435.3 crore (approximately $173 million USD).

This remarkable performance has propelled *Pushpa: The Rule* into an exclusive club previously occupied solely by S.S. Rajamouli’s *Baahubali 2*. For over seven years, *Baahubali 2* held the record as the only Indian film to cross the ₹1000 crore mark in India net collections. While films like *KGF: Chapter 2* and the original *Pushpa* came close, *Pushpa: The Rule* has finally surpassed this monumental threshold.

The film’s success is spread across various languages, with significant contributions from Telugu (₹4.35 crore), Hindi (₹20 crore), Tamil (₹0.55 crore), Kannada (₹0.08 crore), and Malayalam (₹0.02 crore). Overseas collections account for a further ₹237 crore (approximately $28 million USD) of the global total.

Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, *Pushpa: The Rule* was released on December 5th in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam. The film’s sustained momentum, particularly its strong performance on its third Saturday, solidifies its position as one of the biggest box office successes in Indian cinema history.
