**Kochi, Kerala:** The highly anticipated Malayalam action film “Marco,” starring Unni Mukundan, has created a storm at the box office with its intense violence and stylish action sequences. However, one question has been on everyone’s lips: Is actor Riyas Khan part of the film?
Producer Shareef Muhammed addressed this question following the film’s theatrical release. While acknowledging that many actors seen in the location videos are absent from the final cut, he clarified that many were simply guests at the pooja ceremony.
Regarding Riyas Khan specifically, Muhammed revealed a surprise. While his scenes are not in the theatrical release, they will be included in the OTT version. “Riyas Khan will be in the OTT release. That’s all I can say. A few scenes were cut during censoring, but they will be available on OTT,” Muhammed stated. He added that the censor board had done its best within its limitations.
“Marco,” directed by Hanif Adeni and scripted by him, boasts stunning visuals, a pulsating background score by Ravi Basrur (known for “KGF” and “Salaar”), and intense fight choreography by stunt director Kalaikking. The film features Unni Mukundan in a rugged gangster look and Jagadish as the menacing villain, Tony Isaac. Clocking in at 2 hours and 25 minutes, the film is hailed as Unni Mukundan’s biggest project yet, thanks to the high-octane action sequences and stunning visuals. The film is produced under the Cubes Entertainments banner.
