**Tiruchi, December 21, 2024** – Pudukottai Municipality is set to receive significant infrastructure improvements, with the groundbreaking of two major projects on Saturday. Law Minister S. Regupathy and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Siva. V. Meyynathan laid the foundation stones for a ₹25.31 crore project to provide 24-hour drinking water supply to Ashok Nagar (Ward 47) and an ₹89.95 crore project to establish an underground drainage system in Narimedu (Ward 1). Funding for both initiatives comes from the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. Pudukottai Collector M. Aruna, Mayor Tilakavathi Senthil, and Corporation Commissioner T. Narayanan were present at the ceremony. These upgrades represent a substantial investment in the municipality’s infrastructure.
