**NEW DELHI, December 20, 2024** – The results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 were released today, with 14 candidates achieving a perfect 100 percentile score. While this grants eligibility for admission to top business schools across India, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the journey is far from over. A further 29 candidates scored 99.99 percentile and 30 scored 99.98 percentile.
Even those with a perfect score must navigate group discussions and interviews, with each IIM employing its own selection criteria, details of which are available on their respective websites. A significant number of the top scorers are engineers, with 13 of the 100-percentile achievers hailing from engineering backgrounds.
