**Hyderabad, India** – Kia India has unveiled its new compact SUV, the Kia Syros, for the Indian market. While pricing hasn’t been announced, pre-bookings open January 3rd, with a February launch anticipated. The Syros will be available with a choice of 1.0-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, offered with various transmission options including 6-speed manual (MT), 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and 6-speed automatic (AT).
The vehicle boasts a range of variants offering different combinations of these engines and transmissions. All variants will include standard safety features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Control.
The Syros will compete with established players in the Indian compact SUV market, including the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and the recently launched Skoda Kushaq. Further details on specifications and pricing will be released closer to the official launch date.
