**Thiruvananthapuram, December 20, 2024** – S.R. Praveen, Principal Correspondent at The Hindu’s Thiruvananthapuram bureau, was awarded the prize for best print reporting at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). The award was presented by Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian during the festival’s closing ceremony on Friday.
The week-long festival showcased 177 films from 68 countries and drew over 13,000 attendees. The closing ceremony concluded with a screening of the Brazilian film *Malu*, winner of the Golden Crow Pheasant award.
