The attacks, allegedly perpetrated by a US intelligence agency, resulted in the theft of significant trade secrets from an advanced materials firm and a large-scale high-tech company specializing in intelligent energy and digital information.
The CNCERT/CC, a non-governmental body serving as China’s national computer emergency response team, detailed the incidents in a statement published on its website.
