**Patna, Bihar:** The Bihar Science, Technology, and Technical Education Department will launch its first newsletter on December 22nd, coinciding with National Mathematics Day. The inaugural edition will highlight the department’s key achievements, while subsequent monthly issues will feature updates on engineering and polytechnic college developments, educational initiatives, and upcoming events. The newsletter will also include profiles of department officials and details of all programs and exhibitions.
Separately, the results of a state-level talent search exam for students in classes 6-12 will be announced on December 16th and 17th. Organized by the Bihar Science, Technology, and Technical Education Department and the Bihar Council on Science and Technology Planetarium, the competition, comprising the Srinivas Ramanujan Talent Search Test in Mathematics-2024 and the Sir C.V. Raman Talent Search Test in Science-2025, saw nearly 79,000 participants out of 1.86 lakh registrations. Top three state-level winners will receive laptops, medals, and certificates at a ceremony in Gyan Bhawan. Consolation prizes will also be awarded to those ranking 3rd to 10th at both state and district levels. District-level winners will be felicitated at local government engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes.
