**Bloemfontein, South Africa** – South African cricketer Chloe Tryon has received an official reprimand from the International Cricket Council (ICC) for breaching the Code of Conduct during the ongoing Test match against England. Tryon was found to have used audible obscenity after conceding a boundary during England’s first innings on Sunday.

The incident, which occurred in the 44th over, resulted in a Level 1 breach under Article 2.3 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Tryon admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Shandrè Fritz, avoiding a formal hearing. As a result, she has received a reprimand and one demerit point added to her disciplinary record. This is her first offence in a 24-month period.

The umpires involved, Lauren Agenbag, Kerrin Klaaste, Bongani Jele, and Siphelele Gasa, reported the incident. Level 1 breaches carry penalties ranging from a reprimand to a 50% match fee fine, and one or two demerit points. Accumulation of four or more demerit points within a 24-month period leads to suspension.
