**Canberra, ACT –** The Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers will face off in the nation’s capital on Tuesday, December 17th, marking the opening match of the Big Bash League (BBL) season. The match, starting at 7:15 pm AEDT (bat flip at 6:30 pm AEDT), will be broadcast on Channel Seven, 7plus, Fox Cricket, and Kayo Sports. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Both teams boast exciting new additions and returning faces. Sydney Thunder will see potential debuts for Wes Agar, Lockie Ferguson, Sam Konstas, and Sherfane Rutherford.
