Mumbai, India – Transrail Lighting, a leading Indian EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) company specializing in power transmission and distribution, announced its initial public offering (IPO) today. The company, with a four-decade history and a global presence in 58 countries, offers turnkey solutions for transmission lines and substations.
Transrail Lighting boasts integrated manufacturing capabilities and has completed projects totaling 34,654 circuit kilometers of transmission lines and 30,000 circuit kilometers of distribution lines worldwide as of June 30, 2024. Its expertise extends to high-voltage and extra-high-voltage sectors, and the company also operates in civil construction, poles and lighting, and railway projects. The company employs 1,761 personnel.
The IPO proceeds will be used for expansion and further development within the company. The offer is split between Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) at 50%, Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) at 15%, and retail investors at 35%. Investors can apply via internet banking ASBA, online through brokers using UPI, or through offline applications.
Ajanma Holdings Private Limited, Digambar Chunnilal Bagde, and Sanjay Kumar Verma are the promoters of Transrail Lighting. Several brokerage firms are participating in the IPO, including Axis Capital, Link Intime India, and others. Allotment status will be available on Link Intime’s website. The IPO GMP (grey market premium) and kostak rate are currently unavailable.
