**Imphal, Manipur:** Two students from Senapati district in Manipur have successfully cleared the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-1 examination. The achievement is attributed to coaching received from the Indian Army’s Red Shield Mentoring Centre in Senapati.
According to a Defence Ministry spokesperson, Daehri Khojio and George Luni, both residents of Senapati, passed the exam held on September 9, 2024. They were part of the second batch of students undergoing training at the centre, which started on August 5, 2024, focusing on competitive exam preparation. The centre is run by the Indian Army and operates in Manipur, Nagaland, and southern Arunachal Pradesh.
The Defence Ministry’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) stated that this success serves as an inspiration to other students in the programme. The achievement highlights the importance of discipline, hard work, and focus. The SSC CGL examination is a crucial gateway for various central government jobs. Khojio and Luni will now prepare for the Tier II examination.
