**BHOPAL:** A planned event for a local Patwari (revenue officer) in Bhopal was overshadowed by factionalism within the ruling party. Two rival groups organized competing events, resulting in a split and undermining the original program.
One group, supporting the Patwari, included prominent leaders like Umang Singhar, Nath Saheb, Arun Yadav, Ajay Singh, Hemant Katare, Govind Singh, Praveen Pathak, and Arif Masood. The opposing faction, however, actively worked to counter the Patwari’s event, even staging a separate tractor rally beforehand. This resulted in two distinct, competing events, effectively diluting the impact of the original program. The reasons behind the factional split remain unclear.
