**New Delhi, July 11, 2024** – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final results for the Constable (GD) recruitment examination, 2024. A total of 43,286 candidates have been selected to fill 46,617 vacancies across various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Assam Rifles.
The results, including state and category-wise cut-offs, are available on the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in. The selected candidates will serve as Constables (GD) in CAPFs and SSB, and Riflemen (GD) in the Assam Rifles. The breakdown of selections includes 39,375 male candidates and 4,891 female candidates.
The SSC noted that the results of 845 candidates have been withheld due to court orders or suspected misconduct. Detailed marks for all candidates, both selected and unselected, will be uploaded to the website at a later date.
The written examination was held from February 20 to March 7, 2024, and March 30, 2024. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification were conducted from September 23, 2024, onwards at various centers across the country.
